Notes from the Road, Volume 2: Swamp Minstrels

Notes from the Road is Music Canada’s artist tour diary. Canadian artists on tour around the world will share their stories of fans, gigs and the “good, bad and the ugly” of touring!

Tues. Nov. 22

Arrived in Saint John 4 pm load in @ Pepper's Pub, great Thai dinner, seafood Pad Thai and a few Guinness.

Conversation about ebaumsworld and Homestarrunner with the boys.

Check in at the Econo lodge and chill before show.

They are calling for heavy snow tomorrow. Good thing it's a short drive to Fredericton.

Too much time in-between. In limbo. Sleep.

Brick walls, wood columns, buddah, banjo, guitars, pumpin' drums, death grass, swamp minstrels play and sway and the crowd stays and praise the songs they play.

Songs from the soul.

Bradleyboy & Elliot BROOD pay the toll.

What a tour.
