Notes from the Road, Volume 3: Snow day in NB
Notes from the Road is Music Canada’s artist tour diary. Canadian
artists on tour around the world will share their stories of fans, gigs
and the “good, bad and the ugly” of touring!
Wed. Nov. 23
Snow day in New Brunswick. 25 cm and counting.
Did a site visit at the One Mile House bridge on Highway 1 in Saint John. I was an ironworker for 24 years and now I consult for companies, so this was a side bar to the tour.
Staying at The Prospect Inn outside Fredericton. Stompin' Tom stayed here in 2010 for 2 weeks. It was his home base while touring 'round the Maritimes.
Casey is a champ behind the wheel.
Eastern Canada tour and Far East food - I am lovin' it.
Tired already of Tim Horton's coffee and breakfast sandwich. Maybe I'll try Munchos, meat stick and an Arizona breakfast.
The Capital show was packed. Though the crowd seemed politely quiet. Still a great turnout for a snowy early Wednesday night in Fredericton. Gin and tonics were flowing.
Tonight, Bradleyboy plays at Baba's Lounge in Charlottetown, PEI. Stay tuned for more Notes from the Road!
Bradleyboy MacArthur is a one-man band, performing guitar, banjo, harmonica, hi-hat, suitcase-bass drum, and vocals. His latest album, Salt Gun, was recently released on Awesome Music Inc. He is currently on tour with Elliott BROOD.
